Mass Effect 3 Ships 3.5 Million Units Worldwide
BioWare have announced that EA has shipped 3.5 million units of Mass Effect 3 to retailers worldwide.
The developers co-founder Ray Muzyka, speaking about Mass Effect series executive producer Casey Hudson, stated;
“We have been truly humbled by the amazing response from fans and critics for Mass Effect 3."
“The game is a gripping, engaging experience where the decisions and choices you make will truly stay with you for the months and years ahead. We are all incredibly proud of Casey Hudson and the teams in Edmonton and Montreal for delivering the best game BioWare has ever made.”
EA announced earlier today that Mass Effect 3 had sold over 900,000 units in 24 hours since launch on Tuesday in the US. The game should be well over 1 million units following today's European release. “The game is a gripping, engaging experience where the decisions and choices you make will truly stay with you for the months and years ahead. The game is out now in all regions for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
