EA's Online Pass Confirmed For ME3
Electronic Arts have confirmed that BioWare's upcoming title, Mass Effect 3, will utilize their Online Pass system in order for you to enjoy the game online.
The game's multiplayer mode, known as Galaxy at War, will need a code to activate the online portion of the game. Don't worry, every new copy of the game will contain said code. Those of you who buy the game used will have to fork over $10.
Galaxy at War will connect the game to various social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
“The theme of galactic war in Mass Effect 3 presents us with the perfect opportunity to introduce multiplayer into the Mass Effect series,” said Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series.
“Multiplayer not only features amazing combat and deep customisation options, but it will give players another way to help the war effort against the Reapers in the main event – the single player campaign.”
Mass Effect 3 is out in March for the PS3, 360, and PC. “Multiplayer not only features amazing combat and deep customisation options, but it will give players another way to help the war effort against the Reapers in the main event – the single player campaign.”
