Ghost Recon: Future Solider Delayed Into 2012
Ubisoft have announced that their upcoming Tom Clancy shooter, Ghost Recon: Future Solider, has been delayed into 2012.
The publisher confirmed the news during their 2011 financial earnings call. The delay will put it into Q4 of 2012.
Ubi CEO Yves Guillemot stated that delay was due to a crowded holiday release schedule that will most likely contain Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3.
The publisher also confirmed that they have canceled a number of projects due to "major changes in the industry". Guillemot stated that Ubisoft will begin to look into popular PC options such as free-to-play titles and micro-transaction based games.
