Splash Damage "Focused On Brink"

Paul Wedgwood, CEO of Splash Damage, has stated that his firm is "focused on Brink" when asked what's next for the developer.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Wedgwood stated,
“Right now we’re just focused on Brink 1, on completing that game and finishing it and making sure we do a really good job of it,” Wedgwood said at a recent press event.

“If you have 80 staff, you’ve always got more games that you plan on working on, otherwise it would be a somewhat short lived… Some British game studios, maybe that is their only plan: make one game and quit. For Splash Damage, at the moment, we’re really only prepared to talk about Brink 1.”
The games' director, Richard Ham has stated in the past that he's already looking forward to Brink 2 & 3. However, Wedgwood was quickly to dismiss that notion.
“Beyond Richard Ham, our creative director, saying, ‘Yeah, of course I’ve thought about the future,’ there are absolutely no firm plans to do anything at all at the moment."

“All we’re doing is we’re focusing on Brink 1, and that’s the sole focus of the studio. It’s the only thing anybody’s working on at the studio, and I think that’s the right thing to do: make one really good game first, and then worry about what’s coming after that.”
Brink is out on May 17 in the US and May 20 in the UK for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
