Waltz and Jam Sets Release Date
Korean developer Flyway Games has announced that Waltz and Jam, its hand-drawn action-adventure meets platformer, will launch on December 3, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2 , PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The release date announcement, revealed with a new trailer during the Triple-i Initiative, also confirmed the console versions of the game, and surprised viewers with a playable demo available now on Steam, giving players their first chance to step into the beautifully illustrated afterlife alongside Waltz and his loyal spirit puppy, Jam.
Waltz awakens with no memory in Downtown, a mysterious afterlife where he must collect seven stamps to reach the Gate of Judgement. Guided by the enigmatic Low and accompanied by Jam, his loyal spirit puppy, Waltz will journey through seven handcrafted worlds, each inspired by one of the Seven Deadly Sins. From chaotic restaurants to castles tangled in light and shadow and deserts stretching like endless seas, each realm offers its own visual identity, secrets, puzzles, enemies, and a formidable boss.
Waltz and Jam's adventure is built around the unlikely duo's evolving partnership. Jam can transform into wonderfully wacky forms, from a bouncing Water Ball that crosses gaps to a springy Trampoline that reaches new heights, while Waltz uses toys left behind by legendary craftsmen to unlock new paths and tackle enemies in creative ways. Explore interconnected environments, piece together environmental puzzles, uncover hidden secrets, and discover new abilities as the duo grows stronger on their journey toward the Gate of Judgement.
The Waltz and Jam demo is available now on PC via Steam. Players can experience the opening hour of Waltz and Jam's journey ahead of the game's full launch on December 3, coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on that same day.
