Alien: Isolation is set today to terrify this year’s Gamescom gaming expo in Germany with a terrifyingly challenging consumer hands-on experience and a stunning new cinematic CGI trailer titled - ‘Improvise’.

Playable from today at the Koch Media stand, Alien: Isolation is offering attending gamers the chance to experience a terrifying game mode which catapults players into a world of intense fear. Challenging gamers to escape the chilling confines in the fastest possible time whilst armed only with a flamethrower, a motion tracker and the ability to craft various useful items, distraction and evasion are the keys to success. How will you survive?

Alien: Isolation’s new CGI trailer, ‘Improvise’, is an incredible cinematic horror experience bringing Amanda Ripley face-to-carapace with her worst nightmare and the creature which separated her from her mother 15 years earlier.

Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror game capturing the fear and tension evoked by Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film. Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.

Alien: Isolation will be available from October 7, 2014
