'Star Trek Online' vets to get new ships as rewards
Cryptic Studios have announced that veteran Star Trek Online players will soon be rewarded for their loyalty, receiving new star ships.
If you are one of those players who have been with the MMO for 1000 days, as of today, you'll be receiving all sorts of bonus items. Said in a developer post over on the the game's publisher Perfect World's website;
“Since Star Trek Online launched in February 2010, we have thanked our loyal subscribers and lifetime members through the Veteran’s Rewards program. We know you have many options in choosing where to spend your time, so it means so much to us that you choose to spend it here.”
The select rewards range from a new heavy destroyer ship; the Chimera Heavy Destroyer if you're on the Starfleet side and a Peghqu’ Heavy Destroyer if you're a Klingon backer. Congrats, Captain!
