Darksiders II Gets A Release Date

THQ have announced a release date for their upcoming sequel, Darksiders II.

The game will be available at retail on June 26 in the US and June 29 in UK and Europe for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The developer also announced some pre-order incentives for the US. If you pre-order the game at GameStop you'll receive the "Death Rides Pack". The DLC contains multiple sidequests in the "Maker's Realm" and "Dead Plains" adding an additional two hours of gameplay.

Pre-ordering the game from Best Buy will net you the "Angel of Death Pack". The pack will grant you a "unique set of an enhanced armor", it will also get you an upgraded scythe and a visual trail for your traveling companion crow, Dust.

Getting the game from online retailer Amazon will get you the "Deadly Despair Pack" which will see you have a faster horse.

Pre-ordering the game in Europe at GameStop in Ireland and all GAME and GameStation locations you'll get the "Deadly Despair Pack". Pre-ordering the game at Amazon UK will also net you the "Deadly Despair Pack".
