Dawn Of War II: Retribution Collector's Edition Announced
THQ has announced a Collector's Edition for their upcoming expansion, Dawn of War II: Retribution.
If you get the Collector's Edition of the game you'll receive access to all the available bonus Wargear for each of the six playable races in the game. You'll also get a poster and six race art cards wrapped-up in a collector's box for only $39.99. This CE will only be available to gamers in North America through the THQ Store.
If the CE doesn't excite you, you can choose to to pre-order one of the six race packs for $29.99, which is the same price you'll pay if you opt to buy the regular version of the game. Each race pack will include four “unique ability and Wargear items" which can be used in the single-player campaign.
The Ork Race Pack and the Tyranid Race Pack are exclusive to Steam and the THQ Store, respectively. The Space Marine, Chaos Space Marine, Eldar, and Imperial Guard race packs will be available for pre-order through both Steam and the THQ Store as well as other digital distribution sites.
The Race Packs are only available through pre-order and are digital downloads only.
You can get Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution come March 1.
