Magic: The Gathering - Marvel’s Spider-Man Debuts at PAX West
At a special PAX West panel, Wizards of the Coast hosted the full debut of Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man. Launching globally on September 26, 2025, the set brings Marvel's Spider-Man and his most infamous foes and friends into Magic: The Gathering. With Spider-Heroes from across the Marvel Universe coming to Magic: The Gathering, there's something for every fan of Marvel's beloved web-slinger.
During the panel, fans in attendance were given a sneak peek at some of the spectacular cards coming to the set and exclusive details, including:
● An exclusive look at the Villains in the set including Venom, Green Goblin, Dr. Octavius and the Sinister Six
● Showcase Scene cards, which combine to form a stunning scene that looks like it came straight out of a comic book
● Art from iconic Spider-Man comic source material by artists such as Jack Kirby, Todd McFarlane, John Romita Sr., Mike Zeck & Bob Mcleod and more featured on cards inspired by iconic characters
● The Infinity Stones are coming to Magic: The Gathering. Fans can find one of these, The Soul Stone, in Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man. There are three versions of the card that appear in the set
● New mechanics and ways to play such as Pick-Two Draft
● Borderless costume change cards
● Full Bonus Sheet details
● Welcome Decks that are perfect for new players who want to learn how to play

Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man marks the beginning of a new chapter in the Magic | Marvel collaboration, following the fan-favorite Secret Lair drop earlier this year and at the end of 2024. This set invites players into a web of thrilling encounters, with cards featuring Spider-Man, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, along with villains including Venom, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and more.
