Crysis Remastered heading to PC


Hot on the heels of its Nintendo Switch release, Crytek has announced that Crysis Remastered will come to PC, PlayStation4, and Xbox One on September 18. The game will be available as a digital release via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®Store, and Microsoft Store.



Co-developed with Saber Interactive, this new update on the classic first-person shooter focuses on the original game’s single-player campaign. Crysis Remastered features several enhancements that deliver a major visual upgrade, including high-quality textures up to 8K, HDR support, temporal anti-aliasing, Screen Space Directional Occlusion (SSDO), Global Illumination (SVOGI), state-of-the-art depth fields, new light settings, motion blur, parallax occlusion mapping, Screen Space Reflections and Shadows (SSR & SSS), new and updated particle effects, and more.

What’s more, Crysis Remastered represents the first time a Crytek game will feature ray tracing on Xbox One X and PlayStation4 Pro, powered by CRYENGINE’s proprietary software-based ray tracing solution. In Crysis Remastered, what begins as a simple rescue mission becomes the battleground of a new war against alien invaders. The original Crysis looked amazing for it's time, so we're eagerly waiting to see how the Remastered version looks and plays.
