Gods Will Be Watching launching July 24; gameplay trailer inside
Point-and-click adventure seems to be the go-to genre for heavy subject matter these days. One of the latest examples is Deconstructeam's Gods Will Be Watching, which despite its simple pixel graphics looks to be quite suspenseful indeed:

Gods Will be Watching casts you as the appropriately-named Sgt. Burden, whose crew ends up enduring a series of horrifying scenarios: hostage situations, torture, biological weapons, survival in a harsh wilderness, and more. The game is all about making hard choices to ensure the survival of your crew. The greater good often means sacrificing many individuals, but how far are you willing to go?
Publisher Devolver Digital has also announced that there will also be a collector’s edition, which will include the game's soundtrack, digital art book and a digital comic. The comic will act as a prologue to the events in the game.
The game launchs July 24 for PC, and is currently available for pre-order for PC on Steam, Humble and GOG. If you pre-order you can get 10% off the standard price of $9.99, and/or the collector's edition price of $19.99.
