Grand Theft Auto V Still To Launch In January
Rockstar Games has been especially tight lipped over the PC version of the 2013 console hit that was updated for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One last year and much to the dismay of PC gamers delayed until 2015. After telling us that the team that handled the port for Max Payne 3 is taking care of Grand Theft Auto V and giving us a release date of January 27, 2015 we've heard just about nothing else. After being questioned repeatedly if the PC version would be delayed again, Rockstar replied with the following;
GTAV will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time.
While that is comforting for many, some of those who have dealt with the wording of Rockstar in the last year are cautious to be too excited. Far too often gamers have heard "Coming Soon" in regards to the heists for the online component of the game, which were originally supposed to go live in December 2013 but were delayed and delayed constantly. With those yet to release themselves, it allows some reason to be cautious about the words of Rockstar as some have pointed out that "at this time" may mean there is a potential delay waiting in the wings. Adding fuel to the fire of doubt from some users is the fact that so close to release, there has yet to be any mention of system requirements. Not even a hint, leaving once again only speculation as to what it will require until something is at the very least hinted at by the company. Hopefully, that's not the case and Rockstar can come through on this and not start out 2015 by disappointing the PC crowd once again.
