CD Projekt Red Announcing The Witcher 3 On November 17?

The Polish developers, CD Projekt RED, have announced that they will be having an Investor's Day on November 17 and that there will be lots of exciting news on the way.

The announcement was made by one of the development team quite secretively in the The Witcher forums just today, stating:

CD Projekt RED will be hosting an Investor’s Day on November 17th, during which the company will present development strategy and expansion plans for the next four years. It’s going to be a unique occasion for all shareholders and potential investors to see how the company looks like on the inside. It’s going to be even more interesting, since it will be the first time for our company to unveil such long-term strategies since entering Warsaw Stock Market. Stay tuned for more info, there’s a lot of exciting news coming up.

This exciting news is more than likely the official announcement of The Witcher 3, considering that this was announced in the series' forums to its fans as well as hinting its possibility to Eurogamer earlier this year. Other expectations are expansion plans for their digital download service GOG.com. Good Old Games is the second most popular digital distributor for PC games. It provides accessible versions of older games for download on to modern PC's and CD Projekt have recently been expanding their crop with partners Interplay, Atari, Ubisoft, Activision and EA already on board. Chances are, CD Projekt RED will be looking to make more partners as part of GOG and expanding the service to even greater heights of the next four years.

Anything else outside of this would be pure speculation. The chances of a new IP being announced are slim considering the likelihood of The Witcher 3 being announced. Either way, we look forward to see what CD Projekt RED have planned!
